Video Journal
My Video Journal is a medium for updating events and thoughts or developments around fighting. I began the video journal just prior to coming to Thailand for the first time in 2010. It was a different approach for me as I had previously only updated training videos with Master K and (very occasionally) produced written articles on my blog. The video journal updates serve as a filler between those two media: more candid than a written article and more introspectively derived than training footage. I’m usually walking or in the middle of a run when I record them as I seem to be more open and fluid when I’m moving than if I’m sitting at a desk giving a report, so to speak. It’s said that running partners share more of themselves on runs than best friends might over dinner, so it’s kind of like I have thousands of running buddies with these videos.

My Muay Thai Map
go to map home
go to the map home page and read descriptions of each location
This map is a record of the places, people and gyms that have been a part of my Muay Thai journey so far. There is a lot from the East coast in the New York and New Jersey area, so if you are interested in finding Muay Thai around there zoom in on the map all the way up to street level and click on any icon for some of my thoughts. If you are a Google user you can add any of these locations to your own map and get directions. Also my Thailand training and fighting locations are there as well. I found it is not always easy to locate gyms in Thailand so this map could help in that way too. The map is just another way to record and share the relationships I’ve had. The little bon fires are places where I have fought, couldn’t find a better icon.
If you have any questions about these places or the people who have helped me just shoot me an email (contact above) or you can find me on my Facebook page.
I am a 105 lbs female Muay Thai fighter, currently fighting out of Lanna Muay Thai (Kiat Busaba) Gym in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I began training in Muay Thai in 2008, under the instruction of Master K (Kumron Vaitayanon) in Paterson, NJ. With Master K I developed a keen eye, detailed understanding and overwhelming love for this martial art. My path has allowed me to train with many great fighters, including Kaensak Sor. Ploenjit. In April of 2012 I moved to Thailand in order to train and fight full-time.
