Nice article about Loma Lookboonmee's transition to MMA.

Loma will be fighting as part of Rock War Promotions at the Bone Night Club this Saturday in Pattaya Thailand.

Loma has signed with Invicta.

A nine time champion in Muay Thai, multiple time IFMA Gold Medalist, and member of the Thai National team, Loma will make history as the first ever Thai National to fight for Invicta. And, with their new talent sharing deal with Pancrase it looks like the atomweight division will be expanding.

Cant remember where, but Kevin already predicted this could happen! "difficult but not impossible" the transition for Thai to move to MMA. Also he also said if I remember well, it was likely to be women! Im just curious what this development will bring for muay thai, mma in and outside Thailand?!

There is a whole lot on the horizon for women in combat sports.
