August 5, 2015 – Suranaree Stadium in Khorat – full fight video above I’d been offered this fight by the guy Pi Nu calls “Small Man.” His name is Piak and he’s the father of the only other female champion out of Petchrungruang, Phetnamning – she no longer fights. I like him a lot and I’ve gone with him to fights in this area of Thailand before, but he’s a bit tricky to work with because he won’t do my pre-fight massage. Khorat This was my first time in Korat.  I think we drove through it on our way to Buriram last month, but actually staying in the capital city of Nakhon Ratchasima allowed us to actually experience the area.  I love Korat.  We stayed just outside the city in a small resort that was along the main highway but basically surrounded by fields.  It was hard finding a place that would permit a dog to stay on

Thirty-Eighth Fight – Nong Ying Phettonphung

Finding the Fight I arrived at training on Monday morning after my last fight and noticed my name on the fighters’ schedule already had a new date next to it: 3/8/2013.  That would be exactly one week since my last fight and I hadn’t even bothered Den about it, which made me really happy because it demonstrates his recognition of my wanting to (and being able to) fight frequently.  I was pretty stoked. That afternoon the promoter showed up and took photos of a German guy who was slated to fight, Aryeh from China and JR – who were both
